Hitchens has a project for J.B. Van Hollen

Never mind the health insurance ...
What is the AG of the State of Wisconsin now going to do?

Is there anything he can do? The criminal perpetrator is dead. I don't think the clergy was legally required to report child abuse at the time that those specific crimes happened, so I'm not sure he can charge anyone for the cover-up either. Though I suppose he could open an investigation of the diocese to insure that they haven't covered up more recent crimes by other, living perpetrators. I won't hold my breath.

I think he's suggesting Van Hollen issue a warrant for Mr. Ratzinger's arrest, in the event the papal jetliner ever sets down at Mitchell International.

(And if there are any State AGs out there with degrees from Bob Jones University Law School, then they will ask their governors if they can join it.)

Papa Ratzi's starting to feel the heat, no doubt.

Good thing none of this happened on the watch of John Paul II. "Santo Subito!"
