WISGOP leaders slightly off message this morning

Funny, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was on the Twitter earlier, condemning "angry protests & recalls" and then the next thing you know, there's his other Scott, Senate Majority Leader Fitzgerald, "consider[ing] seeking to recall nearly all of the [Senate] Democrats who are eligible."

Said Senator Scott Fitzgerald: "It's about making people spend money where they don't have to. That's what this game has boiled down to."

Good to know all this "job creating" nonsense is just a game to him.

How did The Troupis Law Firm drop the ball on this--at $240/hr, who didn't see this coming??? "That language was tucked into the bills that established the new maps, and it remains unclear why Republicans wrote them that way. They paid Michael Best & Friedrich and the Troupis Law Office $400,000 in taxpayer money to write those bills."

I guess if a 1943 Wisconsin Supreme Court decision supersedes subsequently enacted State law, then so does a 1982 advisory opinion supersede their own legislation. The law is whatever the WISGOP judges say it is (paraphrasing Marbury v. Madison).
