Top ten reasons conservatives are embarrassing

Number One: A poorly educated ex-sportswriter who served half of one term of a minor State governorship is prominently featured as a — if not the — leading prospect for the GOP's 2012 Presidential nomination.
Sez corporate law professor Stephen Bainbridge.

Palin is also the preferred nominee of liberals, is she not?
Number Six: The anti-science and anti-intellectualism that pervade the movement.
Yet Bainbridge praises David Klinghoffer, an "intelligent design" "theorist" and a Discovery Institute "senior fellow" to boot. So apparently Professor Bainbridge is both embarrassed and confused.

A "minor State"??? What is your definition of a "major State"??

And liberals wonder why they are considered elitists.

That's Bainbridge's characterization, not mine.

Hard to give a precise definition, but "having a greater population than Columbus, Ohio" isn't bad as a lower-bound.

And liberals wonder why they are considered elitists.

Uh, because they're all major states, in their own special ways? If not, then I give up -- you win the non sequitur game.

Didn't touch the bit about cutting and running from an elected position to chase more fame and money, though, huh? Because, um, minor state could mean a lot of things!!!!!
