'White man' is two words, election board rules

Independents are allowed a five-word statement of purpose on the ballot to explain to voters what their candidacy is about.
But I thought the right to political speech was darn near absolute.*

This here white man hopes Ms. Griffin wins her appeal.

Maybe we can help her out by coming up with other charming and catchy five-word slogans to add to future ballots.

to assert his independence, scott walker will appear on the ballot with "charlie sykes" substituted for "whiteman."
