It all goes back to education. If you want to help people to not be sucked into crazy ideas, you have to offer them rational alternatives, explain the universe to them. It's a matter of being ignorant versus being informed. Ultimately, we are all responsible for whatever anyone in our society thinks, professes or acts on. It's not we vs. them; it's just US.
On the other hand, there are people who are just plain crazy.
Come back, IT! I'm reading all kinds of wacky legal news out of Wisconsin & want your inimitable perspective. The federal district judge refusing to take new criminal cases ... the innocent man convicted of homicide now suing Milwaukee and its PD ... and surely McIlheran, Esenberg or Gableman has done something excruciating lately.
Thanks, Blake. Been attending to other things and generally disgusted with politics these days.
Thanks for that, and your blog looks cool.
