Natural Born Killers, this time.
I should add that I don't enjoy just dark and disturbing movies, and that I also really liked Terms of Endearment. Although I didn't get into it quite as much as the woman in the theater who yelled "What an asshole!" at Jeff Daniels for sleeping while Debra Winger died.

I still have PTSD from "Titanic". All I did was point out that if the Kate Winslet character stayed on the frickin' lifeboat, they'd both be alive. The problem was that I made the point in front of my beautiful bride-to-be and her girlfriend.
It took months for the bruising to heal.
I hated Natural Born Killers. Tarantino is not funny, except in Grindhouse. I laughed my ass off at that movie.
Well, I exaggerate slightly, in anticipation of any discussion that a movie inspired this young man to allegedly strangle his girlfriend.
It might make my top 50, if only for the cinematography and editing. But it's no Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
And I heard Titanic has something to do with Celine Dion, so I've managed to avoid it for that reason alone.
THE.
The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre.
Sorry for the interuption but that's visceral for me. That's one that I have to be nitpicky about.
BTW, capper. When was there a lifeboat scene in Titanic? I fell asleep right after the sketching scene.
All I did was point out that if the Kate Winslet character stayed on the frickin' lifeboat, they'd both be alive.
All I did was repeat after oh-so-romantic Leonardo: "Rose, you're so stupid!"
Slightly different inflection, is all, and I get whacked on the arm for it. Sheesh.
THE.
The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre.
Ha. I knew I was going to get nailed for that.
"The Sierra Madre."
C., also.
grumps,
Then you missed the best scene, when some guy falls off the back of the ship, which is projecting up into the air. On the way to the water, said man bounces off one of the propellers with a most satisfying "boink" sound.
You're kidding! The boat sinks?
Sorry to be the spoiler, grumps. But I think it was only to give the movie more drama.
