Quotes of the day

U.S. Senator-elect Ron Johnson said the largest applause line he got Tuesday night at his victory party was his vow to repeal the health-care law.
"Regardless of Republican rhetoric ... last night's Congressional results won't yield changes in healthcare reform law," said Leerink Swann analyst John Sullivan.

I don't know about that. I can feel a pretty profound loss of interest coming on. Besides, Ron Johnson's legislative achievements are bound to be less noteworthy than Herb Kohl's. As for the HCR bill, does anyone seriously believe it will be repealed? The courts will get there first anyway.

So the point in electing Ron Johnson was ... To remove one more communist from Congress.

"Anyone" was preferred over one that speaks and acts as a communist, and sides regularly with facists.

(see dictionary for definitions of communist and facist economics, and compare to recent Dem policies)
