Adele Morgan, who has known Ms. Palin since the third grade, said the Palins moved to the nondenominational Wasilla Bible Church in 2002, in part because its ministry is less "extreme" than Pentecostal churches like the Assemblies of God."Extremism" is defined by the speaker in terms of standard Pentecostal fare like glossolalia, miracle healings, and how high in the air the congregants wave their palms during musical interludes.
But a featured sermonizer at Wasilla Bible Church just last month was a gentleman by the name of David Brickner, who "described terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's 'judgment of unbelief' of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity."
Maybe she has an idiosyncratic view of extremism.
