The
WSJ had asked Prof. Tribe to evaluate potential attempts by Congress to get back the
AIG bonuses from the perspective of several provisions in the U.S. Constitution. One of them appears in Art. I, Sec. 10, and reads in pertinent part:
No State shall pass any law impairing the obligation of contracts.
So which part of "No State" doesn't Tom understand? [/glib]
