I remember the 'good old days' when the Journal was condemned for actually having competent, informed writers. Goodness, they even allowed Al Capp to have his comic strip in the Green Sheet and one letter-writer demanded that the paper to be "de-Cappitated".
There is no danger that that JS will ever be respected again, not as long as it is run by mindless reactionaries.

They could at least have the decency to change their name to the "Waukesha Journal Sentinel."
Right on Mike- I nearly used a line like that, because that's clearly the audience they write for.
