Wisconsin: Let's be honest here

Kim Simac is a fairly presentable candidate. Steve Walters doesn't engage Simac on any of her wackier views but this interview shows her as a credible GOP candidate who's got the schtick down pretty good.

  1. The NRA seems to think she's a loser. They endorsed Holperin.

  2. I guess her firearms manual for three-year-olds was even too much for them.

  3. She must be trainable. In Wisconsin, most Tea Party members wear a mask ie. Walker, Johnson, and Duffy (sort of).

Journamalistic ethics. She was smart to avoid that librul deathtrap the Joy Cardin Show after what happened to Dave's Not Here.

  5. Walters is pretty good but I can't help remembering his badgering Shirley Abrahamson with Randy Koschnick's silly talking points, which he seemed to buy hook, line, and sinker, at the MKE press club.

  6. I like him too, but I can't help but think there was at minimum a tacit agreement on the boundaries for her to agree to the interview. And in that respect I have to give props to both Cardin and VanderLeest for hangin' it all out there.

  7. Could be. But you know, these Tea Party constitutional experts shouldn't be so shy about fielding a couple of -- in her case -- Establishment of Religion Clause questions.

  8. Yep, keep bashing us Second Amendment liberals/progressives/leftists/queers.

Eventually we'll all be voting Republican, just for the fun of the culture jam.

  9. Go for it anon. I'd be canvassing for Holperin with NRA friends if I lived closer. Some of them would peel off on Walker, what with concealed-carry. Then again, some would be with us there too.

  10. Walters threw nothing but softballs. She is intelligent, and someone spent money on someone who worked with her on polishing her delivery. For a rookie, she did quite well.
