Maybe it's just me not getting your meaning, as I have quaffed a slewful of Sam Adams' Cherry Wheat today.
But, it seems to me that you believe Kloppenberg should just concede and move on, as she is embarrassing herself similar to that of Walker and his boyzzz. Correct?
She should have conceded long ago, with an acknowledgement of and emphasis on her remarkable achievement in nearly toppling Prosser, representative as it was in motivating anti-Walker sentiment among the most conservative enclaves of the State throughout the months of February, March, and April. In my estimation that would have had a greater effect on maintaining the energy going into the recall elections and been the more gracious and judicious approach. Instead she squandered an opportunity. And I do not believe that the purpose of requesting a recount is to put the State's dedicated election workers and volunteers under a microscope, which is what her conspiracy-minded campaign advisor claimed. I think that is wrong as a matter of law. Nor am I impressed by her attempts to have bags (literally) of votes disqualified. Nor should anyone be. IMHO. Incidentally few would have been as pleased to see Kloppenburg win the election as would have I.
