Agent of Kloppenburg's GAB complaint

Here is JoAnne Kloppenburg's complaint to the Government Accountability Board, Wisconsin's supervisor of all things election, filed by her campaign manager Melissa Mulliken. While it's a helpful rehearsal of a number of State statutes, it contains no substantive allegations of criminal — or otherwise — wrongdoing whatsoever.*

If someone can explain to me why they are doing this, I'd be grateful.

* However, allegations of ineptness approaching incompetence: Yes.

  1. I hope the penmanship police jump all over Melissa Mulliken's alleged signature.

  2. Is it true, then, you believe there is no chance of any unethical highjinks being discovered? I tend to agree. But, man, a lot of stuff sure looks suspicious.

  3. Ok. Never mind. I scrolled down and read the third post from the top.

  4. No, I just have seen no indications of any evidence of them. And the compounding problem is, the more individual leads that are pursued to dead ends, the more perceived dishonor is brought to bear on the general cause. My objections to Kloppenburg's courses of action are political, not legal. (Whoops, 12:46 appeared in the meantime.)

  5. I want to know that things are on the up and up.I find it interesting that when it looked like he was going to loose he shouted fraud. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it's nothing but a circus. I also find it strange that even though the rules call for a recount he is so against it. Why? It may be much ado about nothing, but I voted in this election and I want to know it counted.

  6. it would serve a purpose if there was substantial credible evidence that prosser met with walker or if it unearthed the fact that the county clerk leaked the discovery of the brookfield votes to right wingers before a formal announcement. that would mean that, rather than being remorseful over what she'd done, she was happily saying, "hey guys, good news. we actually won!"

  7. Sykes and the National Review both reported the 14000 vote miracle prior to when the Klopp campaign was alerted. Which was 20 minutes before the said miracle was announced at the press conference. Just sayin.
