What's on the big GOP agenda

Swivel-eyed maniacs get a mandate
The GOP plans to hold high profile hearings examining the alleged "scientific fraud" behind global warming, a sleeper issue in this election that motivated the base quite a bit.
Reports top pundit Marc Ambinder.

Funny, because only a couple of days ago Ambinder wrote:
[Ron Johnson's] "gaffes" have been of the type that drive elites crazy, like opposing global warming science. I think the science is solid, but voters don't really care about that stuff this cycle.
Maybe he forgot.

I would love for GOP lawmakers to hold high profile hearings - the higher profile the better. The science is so rock solid for AGW, that the more Republicans talk about it, the more they expose themselves as clueless Luddites.

You have so much confidence in our electorate.

There are a lot of Americans who don't actually care about facts. They like being ignorant. They like holding firm to their prejudices and ignorant conjectures.
