You keep using that word [authoritative]. I do not think it means what you think it means. I would not have mentioned it, but it appears that you have something to do with publishing a newspaper. Presumably Gannett does not want to alienate advertisers with illiteracy.

Or it could be that Gannett only pays minimum wage and this is what they get, maybe Fitz is not adequately educated to be able to tell the difference between sounding authoritative while spouting gibberish and being authoritative by actually knowing what you are talking about.
