The poll results must be particularly vexing to dyed-in-the-wool evolutionists.*They're not even surprising. And here's why they're not surprising:
My preferred source for information on creation, ID and evolution is Answers in Genesis, the leading creation organization in the U.S. and home to the popular Creation Museum.Because you place your trust in liars and scam artists.
* Whatever that's supposed to mean.

I wonder how they screened for "likely voters" -- I suspect it is strongly skewed towards the elderly.
I'm surprised the number is so low. I'd like to see some questions along the lines of, "Do you even know what 'intelligent design' claims?"
Or, "Can you name the three categories allegedly revealed by William Dembski's explanatory filter?"
Then the poll results would be more like 0.00000000000000000000000001%. Give or take.
Couple things. 52% is pretty close to an even split. I'd be curious if this poll ran 5 or 10 years ago (calling it creationism as that's what ID was called back then) if the number would of been higher. Secondly, I'm glad polling people on their beliefs isn't how we conduct science.
Anything originating from the Discovery Institute is pretty much guaranteed to be a load of crap.
