Maybe there's been a tear in the space-time continuum and Hawking is now a citizen of a country without socialized medicine, and only IBD has noticed.
On a serious note, that link has been up for about 48 hours and no one at IBD seems to have noticed the error.

Well then I guess it's lucky that Cambridge University is in Massachusetts, right?
I suppose it was an honest mistake. He doesn't speak with a British accent.
In fairness, Ezekiel Emanuel only advocated withholding healthcare for people with dementia. So Hawkins will be fine.
I put those newfangled death panels on my roof and they're reduced my utility bill by 30% this summer.
Pete, I'm pretty sure that comment gets you time in Purgatory, at least.
Foust, ditto.
And why hasn't Hawking released his birth certificate? How do we know he's really British? Do we have to look at his teeth or something?
